PT Asian Hybrid Seeds Technologies Indonesia (formerly PT Jagung Hibrida Sulawesi) is a business unit of the holding company Indophil Asia Equities, Incorporated. It started in 2002 in Manado, North Sulawesi, where PT. Jagung Hibrida Sulawesi (JHS) was established by its founder Mr. Alan B. Uy.
Then in 2003, this business unit moved its operation to Jember, East Java, which is one of the centers of Agribusiness in Indonesia. Since then, this company has grown rapidly and became one of the major players among the other hybrid corn seed producers in Indonesia.
Capital restructuring was conducted in 2010 and the name of the company was changed from PT. Jagung Hibrida Sulawesi (JHS) to PT. Asian Hybrid Seeds Technologies Indonesia (AHSTI).
